Feed bin level monitoring across your entire farm network
Agrosilo measures how much feed is left in every bin and links it to the mill, deliveries and batch performance. Your whole network on one dashboard, always up to date, with no one climbing a bin and no waiting for the phone to ring.
IoT for integrated livestock producers and feed manufacturers
✽ The blind spot
You run the supply chain, but can't every farm
Bin levels are still judged by banging on the side or by the farmer’s experience, and orders come in by phone when stock is already low. And feed accounts for 60–70% of production costs on an intensive unit.
When the warning comes too late, you pick up the bill: emergency deliveries, half-unloaded lorries, off-route miles and, at worst, a batch left without feed. Every new farm you add brings more capacity, and another blind spot.

72.7%
Consolidated network level, with 25 bins monitored at a glance.
What is Agrosilo?
✽ The device
A feed bin level sensor designed and manufactured by Celestia TST
- Dual measurement technology. 60 GHz radar up to 14 m, with an accuracy of between 0.1% and 0.2%, for tall silos or those with a lot of dust. Ultrasonics for silos up to 7 m, with an accuracy of between 1% and 2%. The right option is chosen bin by bin during assessment.
- Our own cone-roof adapter. It points the sensor at the centre of the silo, fits without screws and is fully watertight. Standard roof shapes are covered as is, and we adapt less common ones.
- Three connectivity options. Sigfox, LoRaWAN, and NB-IoT, covering everything from remote farms to steel bins in rural areas with poor signal.
- Long-lasting battery. Up to 9 years with one reading a day or 6 years with six a day.
- Bluetooth settup. Activation and signal check take minutes and need no specialist staff. You get data from day one.
✽ The platform
From bin level to invoice, in four modules
Sensor data goes in one end and comes out as routes, delivery notes and cost per kilo. Four modules run in sync on the same hub, so the mill, haulage and the farm all work from the same information.
Consumption forecasting
Days of feed left per bin and alerts at critical levels, with a full multi-farm view of your network..
Telemetry and performance
Bin levels linked to FCR, daily liveweight gain and cost per kilo, with early warning if intake drops.
Dispatch and e-CMR
Electronic consignment notes and weighbridge reconciliation, with the actual cost per kilo delivered.
Logistics and routing
Fuller lorries, bulk compartment compatibility and fewer costly returns to the mill.

✽ A single source of truth
Physical inventory and biological performance, in the same data
The integration hub brings together data that now sits in separate systems and turns it into decisions for the whole organisation.
Full multi-farm view of levels and alerts
Performance by shed and by batch, based on real data
Profitability per kilo consumed, from bin to weighbridge.
✽ How it works
From bin to delivery in four steps
Measure
Mounted on the cone-roof adapter, the sensor measures the distance to the feed surface without contact and without opening the bin.
Transmit
The reading goes to the cloud over Sigfox, LoRaWAN or NB-IoT, with coverage management for steel bins and remote rural sites.
Forecast
The platform converts the reading into tonnes based on the bin’s geometry, plots the consumption curve and works out how many days of feed are left.
Plan
You get critical-level alerts and a prioritised refill list, so every dispatch decision has a reason behind it.
Livestock integrators.
Monitor hundreds of bins spread across the country without visiting them, and keep the mill in step with deliveries.
Feed manufacturers and distributors
Offer a managed supply service that goes beyond the bag and keeps customers loyal without competing on price alone.
Co-operatives
Secure supply and less admin for members, and a stronger bond with the co-op.
Intensive and extensive farms.
Accurate intake data on intensive units, and fewer trips out on extensive ones.
✽ Who it is for
Built for integrated livestock groups
It also works for feed manufacturers and distributors, who gain a reason for customers to stop comparing on price alone, and for co-operatives, who strengthen members’ security of supply and take admin off their hands.
Behind Agrosilo
Our own hardware, made in Spain. We design and build the sensor and the bin adapter, so one point of contact covers the device, connectivity and field deployment.
IoT since 2007. Thousands of our own devices in the field and large-scale deployments under way. The backing of an international group, with a local team you know by name.
The Agrosilo platform. Consumption forecasting, route planning and cost analytics built on how the sector really operates. Developed in partnership with APIUX.

Main questions about Agrosilo
A contactless sensor, using ultrasound or radar, calculates the distance to the surface of the feed. The platform converts it into volume and tonnes according to the geometry of the silo and the density of the product. There is no need to climb up to the silo or open it.
El ultrasonido funciona bien en silos estándar de hasta 7 metros. El radar da mayor precisión y alcance en silos altos (hasta 15 metros) o con mucho polvo. En un diagnóstico previo definimos cuál encaja con tu parque de silos..
Each actor only sees their own. The integrator or manufacturer sees their entire network of silos; each farm only sees its own silo.
Yes. You can work with the Agrosilo platform or integrate the data via API into your management system. The technology adapts to your operations, not the other way around.
Yes. The platform issues the Electronic Transport Document (e-CMR) with the details of the carrier and the vehicle, and reconciles the actual kilos unloaded on the scale.
