Last week, Celestia TST reaffirmed its position as a technology innovation leader by actively participating in the follow-up meeting of the European LoLiPoP-IoT project, held in Tampere, Finland. Alona Shcherbakova, representing the company, led the delegation presenting the progress of Use Case 6, where Celestia TST plays a key role as a technology partner. LoLiPoP-IoT, celebrada en Tampere, Finlandia. Alona Shcherbakova, representante de la compañía, lideró la delegación que expuso los avances del caso de uso número 6, en el que Celestia TST actúa como socio tecnológico clave.
What is LoLiPoP-IoT?
LoLiPoP-IoT is an ambitious European initiative aiming to revolutionise the Internet of Things (IoT) through the development of low-power wireless sensors that can be easily installed on existing equipment and infrastructures without cabling or major interventions. The project focuses on energy harvesting technologies, which power these sensors by capturing small amounts of energy from the environment, such as motion, light or vibration. Thanks to this technology, sensors can operate for years without battery replacement, even in hard-to-reach locations.
Celestia TST’s leadership: an innovative use case
Celestia TST leads the design, development and validation of an IoT device that monitors bearing conditions directly from a vehicle’s wheel, using energy generated by the vehicle’s own movement to operate. This device wirelessly transmits information to a central hub, enabling real-time monitoring of a vehicle or an entire fleet, anticipating failures and improving operational efficiency.

Impact and strategic vision
Participation in European R&D projects such as LoLiPoP-IoT allows Celestia TST to stay at the forefront of technology, develop more capable, reliable and efficient solutions, and support clients throughout their digital transformation journey. Moreover, the company views innovation as a driver that goes beyond technology, transforming business models and creating real impact in the industry.
International collaboration and knowledge sharing
During the meeting in Tampere, Celestia TST also took part in a workshop on the latest trends in IoT and energy-autonomous solutions, sharing experiences with researchers and companies from across Europe. These initiatives strengthen the company’s commitment to excellence, collaboration and the generation of high-value knowledge for clients and partners.
